Domenico Ruiu<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

photographer and naturalist writer, he is the author of about fifteen books on the environment and fauna of Sardinia. He collaborates with online sites, magazines, newspapers and TV on environmental issues.
His large-format photographic volume “The photographer of birds of prey<\/strong>” (four languages, including Sardinian), is one of the few environmental-themed collector’s books published in Europe.<\/p>\n

For the “high scientific merits” of his activity, the University of Sassari awarded him the “Laurea Magistrale ad Honorem<\/strong>” in 2014.
In 2015 he was awarded the national recognition “Premio Le Gru<\/strong>” as Master of Naturalistic Photography.
He is the only naturalist photographer present in the Alidem International Gallery<\/strong> – The art of photography (Milan).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Regional Natural Park of Tepilora<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Established with the regional law n. 21, 24 October 2014, the Park has an extension of just under 8,000 hectares included in the territories of the municipalities of Bitti, Lod\u00e8, Torp\u00e8 and Posada.
The territory of the Park has as its unifying element the course of the Rio Posada, from its origins in the neighboring plateaus of Bitti, Buddus\u00f2 and Ala dei Sardi to the mouth of Orvile, on the Posada coast.
The Park includes typically mountain environments (perimeters of Crastazza, Sos littos and Usinav\u00e0), fluvial and lake (Rio Mannu, Rio Posada, Torp\u00e8 lake), the plains of Torp\u00e8 and Posada up to the coastal and lagoon wetlands of the delta and the mouth of the Rio Posada.<\/p>\n

In the Park coexist the golden eagle (Aquila chrysaetos) with the western swamphen (Porphyrio porphyrio), the mouflon (Ovis musimon) and the european fallow deer (Dama dama) with the pink flamingo (Phoenicopterus roseus), the Sardinian partridge (Alectoris barbara) with the purple heron (Ardea purpurea), the flora of the dunes with the mount Etna broom (Genista aetnensis).<\/p>\n

Precisely because of this high degree of biodiversity, on 14 June 2017 the territory of the Park, extended to that of 13 other municipalities, was recognized by Unesco as Tepilora, Rio Posada and Montalbo Biosphere Reserve<\/strong>.
Furthermore, with the decree of 17 May 2018 of the Ministry of the Environment and the protection of the territory and the sea, the “Foce del Rio Posada<\/strong>” was identified, according to the basic criteria of the “Ramsar Convention (1971)<\/strong>“, as wet area of international importance.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
