Walk and trekking
Among the many things to do, we give our guests the opportunity to go for walks or trekking immersed in nature. You can admire the unspoiled landscapes and, with a little luck, meet animals such as the golden eagle, the newly introduced Bonelli’s eagle, the wild cat, the fallow deer and the mouflon, the partridge and the Sardinian hare.
One of the most spectacular and simple routes is the one that leads to Punta Sa Donna, the highest hill in Sardinia with its 1019 meters of altitude. From up there you can admire the extensive Regional Natural Park of Tepilora, the north-eastern coast from Posada to Golfo Aranci and, on clear days, the mountains of Corte in the center of Corsica.
Furthermore you can see the Sardinian central mountain system that goes from Gennargentu to Monte Albo.
Appropriate clothing is recommended for this activity (trekking shoes and long, comfortable pants. Not shoes with smooth soles and short pants).
